ColdFusion and Databases
ColdFusion websites driven by a Backend Database have the potential to be infinitely adaptable and dynamic. It is properly used when the website information needs to be dynamic, especially since database queries can be sorted and analyzed. Examples of database-driven websites can be found in my Website Portfolio.
I can either convert an existing website to a database-driven ColdFusion website or create a completely new website from scratch. Regardless of the choice, there are some important considerations to make:
- What kind of information will you be storing?
- How will the stored information need to be retrieved?
- How will the stored information need to be analyzed?
- How will the stored information need to be sorted?
Naturally, this is just a partial list, but it saves a lot of time (and your money) to have some of these questions answered. Once the design is underway, you will be able to view it in your "Client Login" page. You will receive an E-Mail notice every time the page has been updated, along with a list of the changes.
Cost
All meetings for concept and design approval are offered at no charge. Initial design (preparing a layout and design for your approval) and database preparation is billed at $20 per hour but for no more than three hours. All other labor is billed at $20 per hour. All of my labor time will be documented and available to you under "Client Login".
